Let’s talk Peanut Butter!
We’ve all had Peanut Butter & Jelly/Banana/Nutella sandwiches. And what is Reese’s Chocolate without Peanut Butter? Unfortunately, peanut allergies are just as widespread as Reese’s chocolates. Here in the States, substitutes are everywhere, so yes—even peanut butter cookies don’t have to have actual peanuts in them. You can substitute any nut-butter or other sub into this recipe. An easy yet decadent, gluten and dairy free, stack of peanut butter cookies awaits!
And just when you thought baking couldn’t get any easier…
- OVEN PREHEATED TO 325°F
- 1 CUP OF PEANUT BUTTER
- 1 CUP OF SUGAR
- 1 EGG
- 1 TSP OF BAKING POWDER.
- MIX THEM ALL INTO A BOWL WITH A FORK.
- SPOON IT ONTO A BAKING PAN, AND FLATTEN IT A LITTLE WITH A FORK (OR DON’T, THAT’S COOL, TOO).
- BAKE FOR 10-15 MINUTES, CHECK FOR DONENESS.
The Cookies should just begin to brown, lightly, around the edges. Get em’ out, and let them cool a while before serving.
